Indigenous Medicine

with Creator and Zoe Azalea

The ceremony will begin with the teachings of the Medicine Wheel.

The Medicine Wheel is a tool and ancient symbol utilized by Indigenous Peoples around the world. By walking the Medicine Wheel we learn to honor the circle of life, ourselves and our relatives. We will enter the Medicine Wheel in the East and walk clockwise to the South to the West to the North to Father Sky to Mother Earth and return to Center.

Please bring cedar, tobacco, cornmeal, sweetgrass, sage to offer to the 7 directions. And we will pray with Grandfather Fire. Please bring a object/or writings which represent that which you would like to let go of and offer to the fire for purification. We will return to the Medicine Wheel to make offerings in the 7 directions, welcome in new beginnings, and sing a song of gratitude.

We will culminate the ceremony with a message from the International Council of Thirteen Indigenous Grandmothers and will screen the trailer for “For the Next 7 Generations: The Grandmothers Speak.” - www.grandmotherscouncil.com
