Prophecy - Location & Directions

 

Welcome to the adventurous journey to Prophecy. Due to limited space at the gathering, we have created options that we ask that everyone choose from to create the best possible experience for all.

GROUND RULES:
NO DOGS OR OTHER PETS - This venue is not set up for animals.
• NO ALCOHOL - You will be asked to leave.
• PACK IT IN, PACK IT OUT - You are responsible for all of your own garbage.

DRIVING DIRECTIONS:

Leave plenty of time for driving to the ferry terminal in Anacortes. The trip from Seattle to Anacortes can range anywhere from 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on traffic, and then you need to leave time for getting in line to catch the ferry. See Wait Times for more information.

Take I-5 to the WA HWY-20 exit- EXIT 230- BURLINGTON / ANACORTES.

Go west onto W RIO VISTA AVE / WA-20 / AVON CUTOFF (towards Anacortes).
Continue to follow WA-20 W
WA-20 W becomes WA-20 SPUR W
Turn SLIGHT RIGHT onto COMMERCIAL AVE / WA-20 SPUR
Turn LEFT onto 12TH ST / WA-20 SPUR. Continue to follow WA-20 SPUR W
Turn RIGHT onto FERRY TERMINAL RD / WA-20 SPUR

Here you can choose to park and walk onto the ferry with is quicker and Cheaper. Walk on passenger tickets are approximately $13 round trip. The Oracle Gatherings will be offering a free shuttle from the ferry to the event after the arrival of two evening ferries on Friday and Saturday.

If you drive onto the ferry, a vehicle and driver will cost approximately $46 dollars round trip with an additional $13 per passenger.

Upon arrival in Orcas, track your mileage.  Follow the main flow of traffic left onto Orcas Road and continue until you see signs for Prophecy on your Left at 3252 Orcas Road at 4.9 miles from the ferry terminal.

SITE:
Campsites will be situated on the grounds surrounding the grange. There will be porta-potties, but no shower facilities. Campers will have use of a sink with running water, but campers should be prepared by bringing their own water as well.

There is a HIGH FIRE DANGER on Orcas and a BURN RESTRICTION is in effect. Campfires are prohibited, but campers can use camp stoves with care. Please be aware of the fire danger at all times.

Car camping is allowed and will be situated in the parking area. RV hookups are not available.

 

PACKING:
We encourage participants to carry only essential items for the weekend campout. Potable water will be provided free of charge through use of the sink previously mentioned. Please bring your own water container (Nalgene bottles, etc.) to be filled. A limited number of water containers will be available.

Please bring tent and bedding, clothing for sun or rain, good shoes, and some spending money for food, clothing and craft vendors. A food vendor will also be on site.

PARKING IN ANACORTES:
You now have two choices on where you park! The first is to park in Anacortes and walk on the ferry (cheaper ferry tickets and shorter wait time) or you can now park on site! Carpooling is strongly recommended whichever way you choose.


Parking at Anacortes Ferry Terminal (2 hours north of seattle) is 10 dollars per day, or 25 dollars for three days. Please be aware that the Ferry Terminal has no porter or cart service so pack efficiently.



FERRY:
The ferry ride for walk-on passengers is $13.15. Average sized vehicles (under 20') and motorcycles cost $43.10 (includes driver). Additional vehicle passengers pay $13.15 each.

EVENT SHUTTLE:
A shuttle will be provided for transportation from the Orcas Island Ferry Terminal to the event site. Shuttles will pick up walk on passengers on Orcas from the following ferries leaving Anacortes, 5:35pm and the 9:00pm on friday. And the 11:50am and the 6:50pm departures on Saturday.

We are also working on expanding the shuttle route to include trips into the town on Orcas Island.

 

PARKING ON SITE:
For those of you who wish to drive, we now have onsite parking! Carpool with 3 or more people can avoid the parking fee of $20.
