Brennan Murphey (a.k.a. Epsylon) has been obsessed with making strange noises with synthesizers since 1994. He has since then produced 42 compositions ranging widely in style from hip-hop to psytrance. He is a Berklee College of Music B.E.S.T. Guitar Scholarship Laureate, founder of Metakinetics, certified Teacher in the Rocky Mountain Mystery School, licensed college professor in the State of Oregon, and organizer of many events including Portland's psytrance monthly "Sacred Space" and the Contact Festival. He can be found twiddling knobs in his basement studio, teaching music production at Spun Academy in downtown Portland, or on stage across the west coast.

Osiris is a legend of the West Coast Underground Dance scene. He has been featured with underground artists such as Brian, Brad, and Trevor of L.A. Moontribe, Manoj of Uplift in Portland, OR, trance goddess Phoenix Olivia in Vancouver B.C., and Lorin (bassnectar) from Santa Cruz/SF, CA. Osiris has also been featured along side recording artists Simon Posford aka Shpongle/Hallucinogen, Atmos, Human Blue (Spiral Trax, chill code - Sweden), Ganga Giri (Australia) and SunControlSpecies (Zenon, Iboga - Australia), as well as Antix, Freq, Beat Bizarre, and DJ Banel from Danish Progressive label Iboga Records where he is now an official label DJ. All this while playing at forest, desert, beach, and indoor gatherings, club nights, and festivals up and down the west coast, as well as internationally including the Double 6 in Kuta, Bali and Shambhala Music Festival in Nelson, Canada. Driven to take Seattle to the next level, Osiris has been deep into creating several projects. He has teamed up with Infinite Connections to bring the best of Europe’s tribal progressive trance music and world class art to the Pacific Northwest in a series of events called IOSIS Art Parties. As co-founder of the Oracle Gatherings, he is bringing a new paradigm in a growing dance community by integrating with the Northwest’s mythical undercurrent. All this has helped inspire the release of his all original progressive and downtempo CD, "Reach Within".

Michael Manahan

Michael Manahan has been involved in the underground visionary arts culture in Seattle for over 14 years as a DJ and event and music producer. Hailing from the burgeoning San Francisco house scene of the early 90s, Michael co-produced the original northwest full-moon celebrations. Holding several residencies and as co-founder of the Oracle Gatherings, Michael has led multitudes up and down the west coast through their dance journeys, from San Francisco to Vancouver, B.C. through Ashland and Portland and out to Hawaii. His style remains deep, tribal house dipped in funk, accompanied by beats that ripple up through your feet. With an eclectic composition, he crosses boundaries by weaving together a confluence of musical styles, but almost always with funky tribal and dubby influences at the roots.

Bringing what has been called “heady” music to the turntables (yes, still playing with shellac wax!), he will choose to put your brain through a synthesis process that will only help further everyone’s appreciation for that of which progresses music, and of course, the mind.

Joshua James is a true believer in the art of djing. With eight years of experience behind the decks, Joshua's goal as a musician is to continue to preserve the craft of taking an array of organic and electric sounds and delivering them into one message of Harmony with the dance floor. Joshua James fuses his channeled poetry and layers it, atop of ethnic world beat, to euphoric bass heavy breakbeats, to deep angelic down tempo, to classical epics. His sets can fuse all of these genres into one story or purely define one genre as a chapter to the line-up.

Joshua is known for his goddess-infused mash-ups, picking vocalists with sounds such as bjork, and remixing them live with tracks that already have you anchored in the bliss. Joshua James' sound has been described as a third-eye activator and as a jewel to the crown chakra. Joshua has shared the stage with the likes of Bluetech, Tipper, Shen, Brother, DJ Brad, Desert Dwellers, Mazeguider, Byron Dreamweaver. Joshua James can be found all around the west coast djing and promoting events, as well as facilitating intentional dj tours, bridging communities and unifying allies with the dance movement, so the tribe can continue to build momentum, as a way to bring light to the world.

Listen for Joshua James at Shambhala this year at the beach stage with special guest Taoin of Lore from Iceland for a special intentional set called, "The sacred journey of Shambhala" He will also be at the portal unifying with luna ravenchild through the ekstasis dance workshop Sunday at 4pm.
